Red Threads:
When a child is born, an invisible red thread reaches out from the child's spirit and connects to all important people who will enter the child's life. As the child grows, the threads shorten, bringing closer those people who are destined to be together.

Happy Thanksgiving

Today is our last Thanksgiving as a family of 5. We are very thankful to have Austin joining our family in a little over a week. We are also thankful for prayers that have gotten us through this journey to joining Austin. There have been tough times waiting on paperwork to be completed. At least this waiting is almost over, the real journey will soon begin. Our journey as a family of 6. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Look At What We Got Today!!

I am in total shock that we got an update. I did not think we would see new photos before travel. I am so excited to see what he looks like now. He looks like a chubby little girl. He needs a hair cut, but he is adorable. I am over the moon excited to be going to get him next week.

Now that we TA

I have photos of his room. We made it a nursery. I hope he will still be willing to sleep in the crib but he may not. We never thought it would take so long to bring him home.

I hope he will let us rock him so we put a glider rocker in his room. He is our last baby so I hope he lets us treat him as a baby for awhile. We have made him an all boy room after having 3 girls.

It is here. Late this afternoon we got the email we have TA. We can go to China. Our agency is in the process of making our appointments but it looks like we will get Austin on Dec 5. We will leave the USA on Dec 1. We will post an itenerary once we have one. We are so excited to be at this point. We are looking forward to meeting other families in China. Austin we are coming for you soon.
