Chinese Proverb

Red Threads:
When a child is born, an invisible red thread reaches out from the child's spirit and connects to all important people who will enter the child's life. As the child grows, the threads shorten, bringing closer those people who are destined to be together.

Where is Austin Now

Everyone knows he is in China but that is a large country. He is in the Hunan Province of China. Hunan is in the southern part as you can see on this map. He is in the city of Chenzhou which is in the southern area of Hunan. Changsha is the large city where we will stay and complete the Chinese part of the adoption. We hope to take the bullet train to visit his orphanage and hopefully his finding place. It will be important for us to see where Austin has spent his entire life so far. We want to take pictures to show him later. Please help us pray that Austin will be home soon.

Still No LOA

We thought we would have LOA weeks ago but no such luck. We have been told it is on the way. We need prayers that it really is on the way. We have waited 3 months now and some families only wait one month. We are not sure why ours is so slow. We are trying to be patient and trust we will have LOA soon. It is getting harder to be patient. We are ready to go to China and hold our son. He needs his mommy and daddy. He needs his sisters and grandmothers. He needs all of his family to be with him. We sent him a photo album showing our photos so he would know he has family that loves him. He is young so he may not understand what the photos are if he was even shown the album. We need to get him ASAP.

First Test Post

I am learning how to email posts to our blog since blogspot is blocked in China. We are getting a VPN to try to use blogspot but still hear it can be spotty. We want to be able to update from China so this is the best way to do that.
