Chinese Proverb
Red Threads:
When a child is born, an invisible red thread reaches out from the child's spirit and connects to all important people who will enter the child's life. As the child grows, the threads shorten, bringing closer those people who are destined to be together.

Why China
There are thousands of orphans in China. All of the kids are left to be found since it is illegal for a parent to place their baby up for adoption. China has a program with as many boys for adoption as girls yet 80-90% of families go to China to adopt a girl. This makes the wait for a boy much shorter for China than other countries. Based on the cost and the wait, we have chosen China.

The road to China
We are just starting the process to adopt a son from China. We have our home study scheduled. We are just counting down the days. We are gathering all the paperwork we will need to complete the process. We cannot wait to bring our son home. Please pray for us and our journey. It will be a long hard road but we are ready.
